WipEout HD gets patched in Europe, freeze bugs fixed |

As of today, our lucky cousins across the Atlantic get to download an update for WipEout HD. Patch v1.1 will solve some of the bugs that some people have been reporting... but... (yeah, there's always a big "butt" "but", isn't there?) there's a drawback.
Here's a note that comes with the patch:
If at any time you have had over 50 users in your friends list whilst playing Wipeout it is possible that your saved data has become corrupted.
If this situation applies to you, we strongly recommend once this update has installed you quit the game and delete your saved data using the saved data utility in the XMB, then relaunch the game to create a new profile.
Ouchies, huh? Don't worry though, while you'll have to go back to square one with the campaigns, all Trophies (and online records) which you've earned so far will still be notched to your name.
Currently, the patch is only available in Europe, but you can probably expect one for North America to roll out soon enough.
