If you've played WipEout HD before, you may have comes across the "Beat Zico" Trophy. The programmer that Trophy is named after, Zico Liu, has spilled a few more details regarding the upcoming Fury expansion pack including the price and release date.

The Fury expansion will come with three new race types -- Eliminator, Zone Battle and Detonator. There are also 12 new tracks, 13 new ships, 6 new music tracks, a redesigned menu system, a new campaign, and a new bunch of Trophies. Those who take the race online will also have additional ranks to achieve.

You can get all of those when the WipEout HD Fury expansion goes live on the PlayStation Store on July 23 with a US$ 9.99 price tag. Before that, though, a free update will be release on July 21. The update will include a new statistics section, redesigned ship and track select screens, and some new community/online features. In the meantime, enjoy these screenshots.

Yes, awesome DLC, but what do you expect ? Studio Liverpool is the *****....I will definately buy this...i'd buy it if it was $20. Only because the devs are amazing and because they released DLC for free for Wipeout pure.

The track where you go head on with other players looks interesting....

Yeah I agree. The price seems like a bargain judging by all that new content.
