Why parents hate gamers: PS3 eBay pornography |

Here at QJ, we don't mind a little innuendo every now and then. We understand that an expression of certain liberal ideas fosters goodwill and... well, it's just funny as heck sometimes. However, some things are just completely off.For example, there are your usual PS3 auctions, and there are the ones that border on pornography, with men humping their PS3. Then there are the auctions where scantily-clad females model Sony's console (and their bodies) for eBay auctions, hoping that the added sex factor makes it more noticeable. Well, someone's taken notice, and that person's decided to save a bunch of those pictures for one reason or another.
We can understand the need for money, of course. We can also understand that sex sells, especially in this day and age where innuendo is rampant, especially in advertising. We just don't want even more people ending up like Tomonobu Itagaki and doing something unsightly to women.
Besides, do you actually need sex to sell a PS3 at a reasonable markup on the net? We don't really think so.

We can understand admiring the forms of others,, but too much is always hella creepy.

Unfortunately Nature has made women sex objects since the time we developed sex organs, whether they like it or not, and guys play videogames the most, so it's a solid buisness decision to put some T&A with your PS3 or whatever you want to sell...
