Apparently, the title update "cleaned up the crime scene", so to speak. Some European gamers noticed that the usual pools of blood around the corpses were nowhere to be found, and the camera angles were actually taken out from the sex scenes in-game. Gasp! Oh, the atrocity of it all! Here's a video of the said censorship in action:
Yeah, yeah. So now Rockstar is speaking out about it, acknowledging the said censorship. Said a rep, "We are aware of an error with the latest GTA IV title update and are confident the issue will be fixed within the next few hours."
You might wanna check up on it now, see if you've got your blood and gore right where they're supposed to be.

Why was this posted in the PS3 section? Did Rockstar try to screw over PS3 owners again? 1st by actually having us suckered into buying the worst game in the series, 2nd by making mediocre DLC exclusive to a console you can only play a month (tops) without breaking, & 3rd by censoring everything.
Then again, I guess 360 owners need every bit of DLC they can get from their year old games cause they won't have any games in 2009.

360 RROD is pretty much non existent for one
and secondly you own a PS3 nuff said what "killer titles" do you have coming from the market? Hell none of your titles can even compete with competitor sales, hell not even the console for that matter!

The real reason is M$ removed that error code from the machines. They didnt fix it but its now impossible for the new 360's to get RROD as that doesnt exist in them.
Thats how the dodgy company 'fix' thier consoles.
Well I can speak here as I own 2 360's and 1 PS3 and 1 Wii.
if your talking about up comming PS3 titles how about Killzone 2 and God Of War 3. They are the 3 big games for the year and they will kick any 360 games coming.
Whats coming for the 360? Street Fighter.... woopy f'n doo. thats like 20 years old and I didnt like it back then so why would I like it now?
What exclusives on the 360 are better than those 2 on PS3? None that I know of. Maybe we might hear about Gears of war 3 but I doubt it'll be in this consoles lifetime as the 360 dies within 1 year. I've already had 3 die all about 11 months old.
Street Fighter's on PS3 too. I got it yesterday and it's brilliant. Much more my thing than Killzone 2 is. One reason I bought a PS3 cos I didn't want a library of games mostly led by FPS's like the 360 and PC...
Now Uncharted 2 looks veeeery nice.
Killzone 2, God of War III and Uncharted 2 are all major PS3 exclusives this year. And while I'm not fussed about Killzone 2 (though I'm sure it's great for everyone who loves that type of game) all three certainly are 'killer titles', so how about you do some research yourself...
I didn't feel 'suckered into buying' GTAIV for my PS3. I've enjoyed it very much and I certainly do feel overall it's the best game int he series (though Vice City is my personal favorite just for the cheesy 80's charm). And please act a bit more mature, eh? Yeah I was a lil annoyed the addon is 360-exclusive but hell with it, I got tons of games to be playing through on my console so it's not gonna bother me that much.

Nathan, I think he is making the point of SFIV being one of the only big games to come out on 360 this year, while the ps3 has 3 big titles coming out this year (apparently, we'll see about God of war 3 and Uncharted 2)
I actually had a pretty cool blood pool thing in LaD, I got hit on the bridge by this chick in a SUV so naturally I pulled over in front of her and yanked her out. Then I just kicked her to death on the bridge and the pool came out but it looked 'different' I guess cause it wasn't the usual shape then everytime I stepped over it I had foot prints (only remember it happening sometimes before not every) and then I drove my bike over her a bit and the pool was actually smearing into my tire trails. As in not just the usual tire trail but the pool of blood changing shape!

I'm pretty sure if you paid for extreme sexual content as well as language and violence, the least you would expect is blood and gore. The ESRB is really hammering these games now. What difference does gore make? That just makes it even more of simulation!
As a matter of fact, why is it so terrible in this game when the other GTA's had the same blood spill? Does not make any sense. And I'm pretty sure that this can't be an "error" after all, someone had to put code and graphics in to make a blood spill upon someone's death.
i am extremely sorry 2 disappoint u, but i just got my 360 a few weeks ago, and it gave me the RROD, and please stop lying 2 urself.

I probably wouldn't have noticed either, some people need to find better things to do than watch blood spill in GTA. Kinda creepy how bothered some people get when a game doesn't have gore (or it gets removed)

I have all three.. I can show you a picture if you want, lol. I have a black Wii with the black knight case (or whatever it's called), Halo 3 edition 360, and a 60 gig ps3.. I bought the 360 new, and the PS3 and Wii used.. cleaned them up, they look brand new, and it really wasn't as expensive as you'd think because I rarely buy anything.. So I have all three consoles and I love them all equally!

had to share my experience with 360. i got mine after a year it came out and i got the rrod after 3 months while enjoying RB6 vegas and battlefield my 360 stopped working all of a sudden wich turned out to be the famous rrod. it was the saddest day of my life because vegas was one of the best shooter that i have ever played. sent it in for repair for a week and after like two weeks it started freezing up again, i sold it on ebay before it dies on me again which then i bought my first and probably (hopuly) last ps3 and i enjoy it to this day (persuaded all my friends to buy one too). glad i switched to a better console with high potential than a break-easy capped out technology one. it was sad because i was rooting for microsoft (own and loved the zune) but lost belief in it. so yeh no one can blame me for a being a sony fanboy, 360 turned me into one.

There are poles you can go to to see what version of consoles are getting RROD, Falcon is definitely still receiving RROD. Jasper may not be. The good news that MS were hinting that they're replacing falcon boards with Jasper boards the other day.

Yeah I noticed blood pools coming out of some cops I'd made religious (holey), in the L+D last night, didn't try walking through them though.
Anyone else notice how Dark L+D seems to be I could barely see in that scene where you have to shoot your way out of the dug bust.
Must say though with the entire game copied to the hard drive I'm seeing less building pop in, not that it was bad playing off the disc but I did notice it ocasionally. I'd already finished GTAIV when the copy to HDD feature was made available.

There was a scene with some politician where they show full frontal nudity, yeah bit gross to be honest. I'm hoping they do the same for a chick later though. :)
But nothing would really matter to you. They made a brilliant game for the PS3 and they released an add on for said game first on 360 you wish nothing but hate and destruction on them. The console war really is a war for you isn't it, you must actually lose sleep when the 360 games some ground against the PS3. I couldn't give a cr4p which console wins, competition is good, we get more features _because_ there are two consoles out there of similar capability. Both manufacturers trying to outdo each other through new software and inovation. I've never encountered anyone quite so pathetic as you Justin, hope you grow up one day.
I was an xbox #1 fan, the 360 was a real wake up call for me. I bought a launch day xbox360 and it dies on me (3RLOD) after 1 year and 2 months, Russian call center guy said to me warranty is warranty and 2 months is 2 months. 5h!t service is 5h!t service too. Was told that it was going to cost me $200 for it to be fixed, went ballistic on every microsoft owned forum I could find (as well as a few neutral ones). Called Peter Moore every bad name under the sun including conman, liar (he works for EA's sports division now LMAO @ the irony). Directly before he quit he made the warranty ruling on the 3RLOD to be extended to three years. Unfortunately by that time I'd already fixed the console myself by creating a tensioning mechanism with bolts into the steel case and spring washers. That fix only lasts about 6 months or so, so I bought a cheap arcade for $250 when they were on sale last year. Everything on that console worked fine and as far as I know the new heat sync on that seems to work pretty good. I recently bought another one and sold the arcade, I wanted a 60 gig HDD and a HDMI port for my new sound system. Overall I'm pretty unhappy with MS for this generation but I'm kind of waiting to see how long this console lasts for. This newest one is positioned in an AV cupboard which is ventilated with Two PC fans generally it runs pretty cool though.
My original one that broke was just sitting out in the open (no aditional cooling in place).
