I bought it earlier today and I've clocked 4 hours on it, and so far it's a pretty damn good game.

The graphics are a bit glitchy, lot's of pop-up, but for the most part the quality of the graphics is great.
It's strange IGN game it a 5, because when they reviewed the Japanese version, they gave it an 8.
My only complaint is that there is no Option for Japanese Voices :(

First, the reviewer finds the "holographic owls" to be stupid and a major story flaw....that there is biased. This is obviously a very high fantasy world with strange creatures and anything is possible.
Then he knocks combat system, saying it's boring and comprises of too much waiting, as well as complains about how monsters can hit you from anywhere.
People didn't seem to mind waiting around in FF games while your meter filled up allowing you to start your next turn.
The monster hitting you from any range is annoying, but it's needed or else you would be able to exploit that mechanic and never get hit.
I am glad we can move around and change the camera, even if it has no impact on combat....
Oh well, to each their own....but I am pretty positive if you enjoy RPG's, especially JRPG's, than you will enjoy WKC.
