When Hawaii plays beyond in Sony Expo 2007

With the arrival of the PS3 in about a week's time, expos, tours, and shows have been cropping up around the world like mushrooms after an April shower. Off the west coast, on the sunny shores of Hawaii, the Ala Moana Hotel has been fortunate enough to host the Sony Expo 2007 for the Hawaiian ohana.

Here's a vid taken by chuukoku from the trade show that is reminiscent of the previous PS3 trailers - the "Capacity" and "Smarter" trailers. This trailer now focuses more on the Blu-ray Disc and the SIXAXIS. It explains the basics of the PlayStation Network, how "while you're awake, it's awake; while you're asleep, it's awake" and once again, Sony picks up its "Play B3yond" concept.

We're a bit of a loss though, because the audio seems to be a bit lagged. But no worries! It's still all in there. You'll even be able to catch some clips of games like Resistance: Fall of Man, MotorStorm, and Genji: Days of the Blade. Catch the vid below!

The Xbox 360 does not have hardware designed just to play Xbox games. I don't know about the Wii, but I think Backwards compatibility was definitly the last thing on the list for Microsoft. If it wasn't, the Xbox 360 would have much better backwards compatibility!

this statement could be seen as valid assuming that you live and breath sony(a.k.a sony fanboy). Therefore, PS3 would be your entire world, making the statement true :P

Seriously though, like rd261 said, it's marketing, so if there is anyone arrogant here it's you. (seeing how you posted anonymously and all).

funny how you hate them, yet you make the time to come to a PS3 blog. Now, isn't that ironic....

# Sony's image IS arrogance andGuest 2006-11-07 15:34
Come on,

Haven't you figured out by now that Sony was always an arrogant brand?

like "Sony Style", "It's a Sony" . Yet, many people not just me love it. It's what makes a brand "expensive". Why do people spend more for LV and Gucci? Same reason.

What is a high class brand without this image?

To #1, your post is retarded. Microsoft has stopped support for backwards capability. I can't play games like Samurai Shodown 5 or my other SNK games on my 360 because they said that not enough people cared about it and they scrapped converting new xbox games for the emulator. So what Sony is saying is true. Its the only "Next Gen" system that is backwards compatible. The wii is new gen and not next gen. Its all a play on words but its the truth. So yeah, go back to playing your 360 with inferior backwards compatibility.
