Warhawk update: Major issues fixed, but small percentage of players are still affected |

If you remember a recent news update about Warhawk, it was about the guys over at Incognito Entertainment churning out a patch to resolve a number of online multiplayer issues with the game. The patch itself resolved the issues for a lot of people, but it seems that a small percentage of the player population is still being plagued by these issues.
If you're among the unfortunate ones in that percentage, then rest assured that the team is aware. Dylan Jobe's update about the situation, as is:
While monitoring the stats situation over the weekend we were largely pleased with the results. The vast majority of you were having proper stats registered on the server. That said, as of Monday, we are now seeing some players NOT getting their stats again. A smaller portion for sure, but there's still a problem.
Dylan Jobe then cites the two problems still being experienced - namely, stat resets and problems in joining a big game. The first one, fortunately, is more of a temporary glitch than anything else. If you find your stats suddenly being reset, then don't panic - it's just the game losing connection to the database rather than your points and medals being wiped clean. Logging out and then logging back in would do the trick.
The latter is a bit more serious, and it has to do with players attempting to join a highly-populated game. What happens is that even though a game declares that it has open slots, it will still reject a join attempt. Another facet of this issue is a player being notified of a game being full after an excruciatingly-long connecting period. Ouch.
Rest assured, though, that Dylan Jobe and the others are working hard to make sure these issues are completely eliminated with the next patch. So for those of us having difficulties, let's all just sit tight and hope for the best.

It's been 10 days I play this excellent game and no stats !!! Do I do something wrong ??? I'm based in Taiwan, could it be the issue ?
It`s great that they have acknowledged there are MAJOR problems with the rankings/stats, and with trying to join games, I just wish they would sort it out a bit quicker as it`s ruining a great game. Sure, stats aren`t everything but it would be nice to see your progress through the game. Unfortunately, as stated here last week, they are woefully understaffed so this can`t help matters much
my stats have come and gone almost every day now... and that is still with the last update being the 9th! now, i don't mind that too much.. but what I DO mind is having to redo all the customization crap every time THEIR servers mess up. Even the insignia (which has nothing to do with unlockables) resets! Having to redo all that every single time this happens is more than annoying.
I`ve just read this on the official playstation boards: Scheduled Maintenance 13th Sept -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello there, Sorry about the short notice but a server side patch is currently in the last stages of testing and may well be deployed today. It targets another aspect of the stats problem and will require much of the Warhawk service to go offline for a while. It's not done in testing yet so we cant be sure it will go live today but we are well aware its important to get it done as soon as we can.
I hope devs for games that play on the PSN is paying attention...
this game is sheer class with or without rankings!! i love this game to death. best £20 ive spent yet!!!
THIS IS THE BEST ONLINE FPS I'VE EVER PLAYED (Other than Resistance, Warhawk and Resistance are both awesome)!!!!!
this game is the best next-gen fps on any console, i don't care about halo 3 its gonna good wit alot of hype around but when killzone comes tissue please cuz ps3's popping squats on it, lol
It's not a FPS !!! Except from that, I want my stats ! What's the point to do some beta testing for months and on the release one of the feature is not working properly ?

Am i the only on who encounters occasional freezes when trying to load Warhawk from the XMB?

I don`t get any freezes, and thanks to a server update this afternoon, my stats have finally started updating. It`s also a bit easier to join games now, although I do still get the odd `room full` message even though it`s not showing up as such. Warhawk`s looking a bit better today :-)
