Warhawk patch update goes live today, changes revealed

In a previous article, we mentioned that the developers from Incognito Entertainment were working on some new server setups and changes for Warhawk. Game Director Dylan Jobe has announced that the update will be going live today some time from 5:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. GMT.

Jobe has released a list of all the changes that will be implemented in Warhawk. Like he mentioned before, a few of the modifications made were suggestions from the community including respawning, and large layout playlists, among others. Here's the list of all the updates:

By popular demand, playlists which include the largest layouts now include only the largest layouts. They will no longer occasionally rotate into medium layouts.
By popular demand, respawn times have been set to 3 seconds.
By popular demand, Broken Mirror servers now offer dedicated CTF and ZNS games in place of the mixed playlists.
Dogfight servers were added back to the list. They were inadvertently omitted before.
All games' time limits were reduced to 15 minutes, and ZNS score limit was reduced to 5000, to combat complaints of prolonged base camping.
"NEWBIE" servers were changed to Â“RookieÂ” to bring the nomenclature in line with upcoming changes in v1.4.
"Pro" servers were changed to Â“ExpertÂ” to more obviously indicate a skill level rather than a player type. Some players incorrectly identified "Pro" servers as tournament games, a la MLG or GGL.
"Casual" servers are essentially the same as before, but the "Casual" designator has been dropped. We now refer to these internally as just Â“standardÂ” servers, and they are listed without any special identifier.
The rank cap on Rookie servers was increased to Wingman, since players were getting kicked out of these servers too quickly and finding themselves unprepared to play on standard servers.
A rank cap was imposed on standard servers at Command Marshall. This is rank 15/19 so it should not affect a lot of players. The intention is to pull some of the most elite players out into their own category, somewhat narrowing the rank gap on these servers.
Many Omega Dawn exclusive servers were removed due to lack of use.

If the 5 second respawn took you off it straight away, then you played the game once and never again.. So no you werent 69th in the worth.

Unless you picked it up on day one or very early on when all the ranking servers were completely messed and rank meant absolutely nothing.

But if your 2 seconds are better spent elsewhere, good for ya.. You wasted about 12 deaths/respawns worth of time posting here about your contempt for the game.

Dude, if 5 second respawns caused you to stop you're just a *****ing *****. You obviously sucked. Everyone was on an equal playing field, so you shouldve been just as good regardless of spawn times.

You sir, suck and I'm glad you don't play. You'd sure be fun to knife in the back though.

you two genuine *****ups obviously dont know how annoying it is having to wait 5 seconds when you die in battle, constantly.

if you dont believe me, you both are actual idiots.

if you want photographic evidence, ill prove to you both WHEN i was 69th in the world, as well as how many points i was up in one game after being in there a matter of minutes.

Which makes me glad that i would STILL, beat the absolute ***** out of both of you after not even being on it in about 2 months.

And you know whats really stupid?

i went on the game today, and found MY ENTIRE stats to have gone completely. Now it says i have played for an hour and a bit. And i have only won 4 games?

hahahahahha.

This is why warhawk can suck my balls.

both just go and ***** yourself, its what you are both good for.

Actually if you're constantly dying in battle and having to respawn...doesn't that pretty much prove that you suck?

I don't need your photoshopped evidence that you were 69th in the world...once...before everyone got better than you and you became a raging vagina full of sand.

The fact is, everyone has to deal with the 5 second rule, so it doesn't work against you more than it does anyone else. They die and wait just as long as you do...except you died more often so you had to wait more often, lending credibility to the likelihood you suck.

You lose biatch.

Apparently being taken off a game straight away means devoting hours upon hours into it. I was like 300 something in the world. Then the rank system started to work.

yes but i didnt devote my life to it, i was actually good at the game to get to my postion, and then STAY in the position.

the rank system always worked for me.

First off, direct photo links can still be photoshop. Second, it'd be past tense since you didn't stick with it, so it's really inconsequential .

Second, I hardly devote my life to it. My PSN name is DirtyOFries, feel free to see my stats and notice my complete lack of skills or play time. The point of this was to call you out on your ridiculous *****ing.

Some day, when you're older than 15 and closer to my age, you'll realize video games don't matter too much, and that people older than you can smell BS a mile away.

In the end, none of your meaningless insults change the fact that you suck too much to even try to compete based strictly on 3 seconds more of respawn times. You're refusing yourself fun because you can't handle getting killed. It's sad.

PS: Calling another man "big boy" is flamingly homosexual, so unless you like taking it from behind, you may want to lay off its usage.
