In a recent post, we let you know that Sony PlayStation 3 exclusive Warhawk is due to get some new downloadable content via the PlayStation Network soon. Now, QJ.NET user Mirai Zero tips us off on some screenshots and details on the Omega Dawn DLC.

The tip leads us to the PlayStation US blogs where developers from Sony Computer Entertainment have posted some goodies. As you can see, the Omega Factory glimpse is given  away here, along with the new Combat Dropship KT-424. It looks pretty sweet, eh?

We already know that the new Omega Factory level will be set at night time to give Warhawk vets a new experience, and we've told you before that the KT-424 can carry six soldiers and one pilot. What's new in this post is the revelation that 5 updated bonus layouts for battlefields from the original game have been included so that you can play using the new Dropship in familiar places.

Details on release are still blurry, but it was stated that all was still on track for Omega Dawn's December launch on the PSN. The new Warhawk DLC is projected to cost US$ 7.99. We can't wait until this one comes around.

It looks like in the second picture, the dropship has someone firing on the warhawk. maybe it will be like the blackhawk in Battlefield 2 where the passengers are the gunners.
