Those who are eagerly waiting for the downloadable version of Incognito Entertainment's Warhawk should probably know this by now, but it wouldn't hurt to rev up the excitement even more: Warhawk is going live in the PlayStation Store tomorrow, at 12:01 a.m. EST sharp.
The official PlayStation Warhawk site indicates a US$ 39.99 and CAD$ 42.99 pricing. For UK fans, however, the Warhawk PSN launch date has been moved to August 30... hey, at least its only two days.
It's only a night (for UK fans, two nights) away, so start twiddling your thumbs for Warhawk's imminent release in PSN!

Is there a demo coming? I've heard too many mixed reviews to blindly plunk down the 40-60 bones on this. Otherwise, it's a rental for me...

this game is awsome! well worth the 40-60 bucks! where did you here mixed reviews from? i was in the beta and the only time i had a problem it was slow getting into a game
I got into the beta and trust me its worth every penny, the only bad review it got was from PSM which gave it 6/10 but that was because the lead editor came from xbox, so people havent paid much attention to that review.
Does anyone know if the US version will be exactly the same as the UK version? If I get the US version will I still be able to play my friends on the UK version or will they use different servers?
Resistance had to have a patch to allow world matchmaking....so, I would play it safe and wait the day or two for the UK launch...

The only bad review is PSM and that magazine is going downhill. As the poster above said, the new editor is from the xbox magazine. PSM gave lair a 5/10 and warhawk a 6.5/10. Can't wait to see how bad they rip apart Heavenly sword. I will not be resubscribing.
I haven't read PSM in years. It's not the only bad review this game has gotten. I don't recall where it was, but it was an online site that didn't rate it so good. I know the guys over on Ars Technica were generally kinda "meh" about it saying that they didn't care for the controls all that much.
