Gamers playing Warhawk may have noticed some issues regarding multiplayer modes and connecting to the network as well. Don't worry, Incognito Entertainment assures that they are hard at work in fixing the issues instead of partying in some exotic island in a remote corner of the world. Here are the main issues that Incognito are fixing right now, according to Warhawk's Dylan Jobe:
  • Stats and Ranking errors, delayed posting, missing stats.
  • Connection Failed" or otherwise messed-up join game errors.
  • Network Drops/Disconnects
Incognito now has a fix for the Network disconnection issues, and should be distributed in the next update.

Jobe also wanted to clarify that while he and the rest of the Warhawk crew have been quiet recently, they're actually working on the problems that cropped up since the game went live, instead of giving the whole issue a PR-ish spin to try and alleviate matters.

That's one good move right there. Stay tuned for more updates!

» No news, is BAD news. Late news, with a lame excuse, just as good?

"they're actually working on the problems that cropped up since the game went live, instead of giving the whole issue a PR-ish spin to try and alleviate matters.

That's one good move right there. Stay tuned for more updates!"

If they had of come out immediately and said "We know there are issues, and we are working hard to fix them" THAT would have alleviated matters much better.

....OH wait a second, they did just now.... a week later.

so is that a PR-ish spin then?

or is there a reason they didn't take five minutes out of their day back on like Friday to say that?

would saying the same thing then constitute as 'PR-ish spin'?

I dont see an update available, so it would appear that 'PR' is trying to 'alleviate matters'..... hmmmmm

Your articles tend to explain nothing IMO.

"they were not away on an exotic vacation.... they just didn't want to tell you they were working on it because of PR-spin.... but now that we are well into the week and any non-vacation they weren't taking is over, here is some PR-spin for ya"

sneriously now....

No reason Incognito couldn't have said this days ago, and you apparently failed to press the issue of why they didn't when contacting/interviewing them... favoring instead to 'spin' the story in a favorable light.

Did you even bother to ask if the stats that are not being updated are being recorded or if there is no stat server running at all?

Guess not huh?

People might actually want to know that kind of useful information huh?

» THANK YOU

Thank you for acknowledging the problems. I feel better now.

by Someone_PR - 2007-09-05 10:24
» well..

I never had problems playing the game.. I'm only out the server when someone kick me out of the game when I'm winning.. hate that... or finish the game before finish... anyway the only problem is that my winnins is not in my profile.. non of them.. I only have the stats of the 28 and 29 of august... but lets see what they will do... and tekken needs to polish their online game too...

» Incognito sucks

Thats crazy, those guys creat a beta test to make sure to release the game without any bogs...

Still boggin as hell and release the game anyway...

Problems detected:

-Cannot connect to a 24/32 player game (say that the game is full) My eye...

-Lost all my stats, customizations stuff and grade. I connect back and all is back, crazy is'nt it?

-Now i cannot have stat points, since 3 days I play ranked games, but still at same number of game played. Like if they just stop de stats system to resolve the problem.

Hell yea Inconito is the best... Continue the worse work i never seen.

EA is much beter with Battlefield, than this scrap.

» ROFL

EA and Battlefield? Lmao. Go get em...B2142 sucked ass. Warhawk looks better, plays better, and has better production values than EA's offerings. I just hope there's not a Warhawk 2/3/4/5/6/Prequel. I hate how companies milk the F out their franchises.

by legendkilla - 2007-09-05 11:14
» like i said

days ago when this game was released this game is glitchy as hell...

by bob davey - 2007-09-05 11:27
» Network issues not likely to be fixed.

Fix the network issues? Not likely. We got that song and dance all beta, and it never was working proper. Network drops, PS3 locking up, etc. One of the main reasons I passed on this game. Even without the network issues, the gameplay was too off balance. I could go on, but I would rather play some other PS3 games :)

» awesome game

I'm sorry to hear some of you having problems with the game , I've been playing non stop since I downloaded it and the only problem I've had is the game is full message even though it says it isn't. After a couple tries I get in so its not even that much of a problem. Well since there are more problems that other people are experiencing its good to hear they are being worked out. What online game doesn't have problems at first? Overall my experience has been nothing but great so I recommend this game to anybody that hasn't bought it yet.

» Chill

What's the difference between a happy boozer and an alcoholic? What's the difference between a gamer and a gaming addict?

You are seriously angry at a videogame company, when the rest of us are just having fun. Maybe we have low standards, but maybe, just maybe, you have a problem.

by PS3 Fantard - 2007-09-05 12:20
» Good job on Warhawk!

"Don't worry, Incognito Entertainment assures that they are hard at work in fixing the issues instead of partying in some exotic island in a remote corner of the world."

Is that what the developers of Lair have been doing for the last 3 months of the "development schedule?"

by oh man - 2007-09-05 12:24
» wow

the game is lame, the support is awful and to top it off there's no one player.. it's all multiplayer with spawn killers up the beep.. I gave my copy to a friend and he sold it on ebay for me. the game is a piece OF CRAP!

by lol - 2007-09-05 12:47
» hey little boy

go to your xmb menu and network settings and select test connection. Fixed, your settings were just reset.

by Someone_PR - 2007-09-05 12:50
» well..

if u don't like the multiplayer... if u just mad because doesn't have single player.. then u don't like to play online... the game is awsome... just the bugs and glitch.. maybe they needed a more open beta... just that

by Bob - 2007-09-05 13:07
» @oh man

Maybe if you didn't suck or spawn in the middle of where everyone is fighting you wouldn't be killed?

by Kaz - 2007-09-05 13:09
» multiplayers issues!?

"Warhawk developers hard at work to address multiplayer issues"

Really? MULTIPLAYER issues? in a game that doesn't have a single player mode?

by anonymous - 2007-09-05 15:12
» just letting you know

just because you're a noob and suck at a game doesnt mean it's no good. i know i'm not the only one that's thinking this.

by ToonHead - 2007-09-05 15:16
» same song and dance

Wtf so the beta was useless because these are all the same problems that were in beta..

Im glad to see there working on it but damn why not extend the beta until they figured out the problems, then released it?

by NonPartisanCon - 2007-09-05 15:22
» Indeed

Truer words were never spoken. These guys are classy.

by NonPartisanCon - 2007-09-05 15:25
» Sounds like somebody needs to practice

"the gameplay was too off balance"

The combat is actually the games only strong suit right now. If you think it's unbalanced, maybe you should try some practice?

by 6 - 2007-09-05 18:13
» Can anyone get this right?

This has been happening a lot lately, with both PS3 and 360 titles. It's like every other game has online problems. What the hell? How can they not notice stuff like this before ship date?

by actually - 2007-09-06 04:13
» ahh

This game is truly crap, the graphics are horrid. the gameplay is sticky and there's too much going on in each battle, which makes it all no fun!

Save your money, I agree It's crap!!
