Warhawk Beta kicking in the afterburners

We dip our Nemesis' wings to informant DaMist who just reminded us that Warhawk Beta sign-ups are now commencing. After you've completed signing up for the game's test phase via the Incognito Entertainment official site, you can verify your registration by powering up your PlayStation 3 and accessing: friends> account management> transaction> management> view services.

If a Warhawk icon pops up, then congratulations - you're now a Beta player.

The other way to find it is via PlayStation Underground's Beta test website. Just punch in your user details and it should inform you if you've been registered. We imagine players still feeling sour over missing out on the PlayStation Home Beta may find a second chance in this news lead.

Note: Dipping wings (aka "waggling") is an airman's way to salute while flying a plane. Once again, kudos to DaMist.

I have to give incognito props man, this game is a monster. Gameplay is so balanced, whether you're flying through the skies or shooting and driving on the ground you'll never feel like one side of the gameplay experience will overshadow the other. i can't wait for the final version. I gotta go back and dive into this game and i'll see all of you who got in it online.

i applied for both Warhawk Beta and Home Beta, didnt get into none of em, however for Halo 3 i qualified for rule of 3 and also users could get crackdown and play... makes you wish Sony were smarter???

Just wait for my review boys and girls, just won on the halo 3 beta and now i won on the beta of warhawk and right now is much fun playing Warhawk online than Halo 3 beta.

Actually the game is very unstable right now. Freezing is a widespread issue. The turrets are way overpowered. It's difficult to dodge locked on missiles, and the semi-auto aim is crap. I guess it's just a Beta but overall it's good fun when it works.
