The PlayStation 3's DualShock 3 landed on US shores last April 6, just a few days ago, so it's a little surprising to see that Wal-Mart is already offering a deal for the controller this early in the game. But who's complaining, right?
The going retail price for the DualShock 3 is US$ 54.99, but Wal-Mart has theirs available for US$ 49.88. The catch? It seems to be only an online deal - you can't get the same deal in stores. No biggie though: shipping is only 97 cents.
Will we see the same deal for controllers in stores? We can cross our fingers. For now, you might want to get yourself the controller now before the opposite happens and Wal-Mart decides to go with the suggested retail price. Follow the link below to buy one.

You know buy.com has a better deal. 49.99 with free shipping. I know it is a couple of cents, but these days with gas prices, most people can't really afford to lose a couple of cents anymore.
If you do the new customer thingy it saves you additional 10 bucks off so it's only 39.98 at buy.com
it will probably drop to the price of the sixaxis and phase out the sixaxis controller for good.
They'll keep up this price till they're sold out of sixaxis, then drop it once sold out--that's also probably why they waited to bring it into the US.
It's kinda a shame; I like the sixaxis name, and people less understanding of the issue think they're giving up on tilt....
They should call it DualShock 3 SA (SixAxis) or somthing lol, people think Sonys replacing it with rumble when their just adding rumble along with the Sixaxis.
Anyways this is a good deal.
Here in the little city of Porterville California I bought mine at Walmart for $49.92 + tax. I love the quality of the DUALSHOCK 3 controller. It's very high quality.
Are you serious? There are a whole lot more than a couple of cents involved in a PS3 + games + DualShock etc. I'm not really sure why you'd try and bring oil prices into it.
