Charger fans, rejoice!

A couple of days ago, we reported about a rumor saying that Titans quarterback Vince Young is about to be the cover boy for Madden NHL 08. Now confirmation has been made straight from the horse's mouth. John Madden himself.

The coach accidentally let the cat out of the bag on the Daily Madden podcast, "Vince Young is going to be on the coverÂ…why, is that not out yetÂ…did I just let something out of the bag?" So is Vince Young the next jinx guy? Madden also "pooh pooh-ed" the idea of a curse afflicting the cover players of the Madden NHL franchise. According to him, if you believe that something's going to happen to you - "then it's going to get you".

There you have it folks. The Tennessee Titan is going to grace the cover of Electronic Arts' Madden NFL 08.
