Video: PS3 XCM Dominator Joystick - all combos in one button

The XCM Dominator Joystick for the PlayStation 3 is an arcade stick that allows you to store and pull off combos -- all in just one button! Now if this really works, then gone are the knuckle-crackin' days gamers have from hours after hours of trying to get that perfect kill.

Of course there's the issue of it dampening the fun of online play. Keep it to your offline matches, then, perhaps? Why don't see for yourself?

This is a cool looking stick with a bunch of options. The bad thing though is the button layout of the programmed moves. I would prefer larger buttons for those just to the left of the stick. Also this stick will help the cheaters that play online. Blast those mindless moves!

Arcade sticks don't have much of a use anymore especially with all these 3D envirnoment games and such, but I can think of several games that I could use with this. I'm kind of iffy on it though because many of the arcade sticks made for home consoles aren't worth a crap. The Shadowblade arcade stick for the PS2, and the Alloy Stick for the Dreamcast were the worst I've ever used. I hope this one is an "Arcade Quality" arcade stick that has the exact feel as if you were playing an actual arcade. You know, arcade buttons, and the same joystick that arcade fighting games use. Something that can take a beating in frantic situations like when you lose because of a cheap combo and then you smash the buttons with your fist as many people have a habit of doing.

Remind me to never play a fighting game online.

I think we know what that acronym stands for now:

XCM: Xtra Cheating Machine

What's the point of playing a fighting game if you're going to use this? I'm certainly not the most adept combo-user of the bunch (though not terrible). I may never see all of the fanciest moves that the characters can pull off.

That doesn't mean that I want to 'cheat at will' in order to see them.

I always played fighting games in the arcade and I didn't feel too bad losing to somebody who was skilled enough to pull these combos off manually, but the combo memory feature of this really takes away from all the fun of playing. What's the point when all you have to do is push a few buttons to win? Besides, when you learn to play one fighting game, you carry on the gameplay fundamentals of that game onto another.

I've been dreaming of something like this since I was a kid! Just like damonous, I'm not the best with combos and I've always just wanted a way to be able to program them in. But just like everyone else: XCM Dominator + Online > Douchebag
