2K Games has delivered. The BioShock 2 multiplayer trailer is now out and about, waiting for you to view the carnage going on under the deep. The trailer's got a bit of a Team Fortress vibe to it, albeit darker and with more telekinetically-launched exploding barrels. Check it out and see if you dig it. I particularly like the heavily-mutated housewife Barbara Johnson (who I thought was a burning Little Sister at first) taking a picture of her latest kill at the 2:24 mark.

BioShock 2 will be out next year on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.

That's not a little sister taking a picture. Did you not play the first one? She should look familiar.

» Yup

Just got slapped and told that that is, in fact, not a Little Sister but housewife Barbara Johnson after having one too many splices.

Sorry for the confusion.

» Hm

I was a little disappointed that they "sold out" and tacked on multiplayer but so long as they're still devoted to the single player experience it can only add to the game I suppose. As well as get them more sales and money to keep making games. The vid did look interesting to say the least.

the multiplayer fits in perfectly with the bioshock story. you probably aren't aware that the multiplayer in a prequel to bioshock, as in these are the events that take place during rapture's downfall
