Apparently everyone thought that only one Bravia would be given away, hence the muted cheers. It took a while for them to realize that Sony was willing to splurge on UK£ 250,000 (almost US$ 500,000) worth of free TVs.

I used to break dancer when I was little. I like the UK Launch better in the US cuz of delay and I can't believe they're giving away free 46" bravia hdtv lcd for the first 100 buyer. I wonder what PS4 Launch look like in the next 6 years or so. Instead of getting a free tv and a free ride, I'll just fly with a private jet with 2 ladies sitting next to me. For the free stuff, I rather have free luxury house and 4 SUVs waiting for me right after the UK Launch!

why couldnt i get a free flat pannel hdtv when i was standing in line, outside, in freezing weather for 18 hours.
and same goes for Microsoft, and me waiting in line all day and night in cold and rain, just cuz i wanted to be the first one to get a 360. thats just complete bull*****...
It's nice to see people get luckly like that. I'm glad they got the TV's. I am in the US, and don't care they got the deal. It's great. I'm happy for them.

lol, sure if i had the money to get that tv myself, or if i already had one i wouldn't care either - i would think that its great how those people got so lucky.
