Video: Madden 08 debut trailer

Challengers have come and gone, but to this day, the Madden NFL series by EA Sports is still the most popular football simulation there is. The developers are looking to continue their dominance as Madden NFL 08 comes charging in fast.

This is the "debut trailer" of the franchise's latest iteration. There's been a lot of hype surrounding it lately with a good deal of interaction between the publisher and the real league. Don those paddings and get ready for hard hits while you get your face rocked with this vid. Check it out:

As you can see in the trailer, the quality of the graphics is pretty much what you'd expect from the grizzled vets of EA Sports and the hardware power of the Sony PS3. We'll just have to wait and see if the gameplay is just as gnarly. We'll keep you posted.
