Video: Behind the scenes with the Optimus Prime voice actor |
Ó
The first thing we noticed about the guy is that his normal speaking voice sounds a lot more like what you'd expect to hear from a friend's dad or something. It's just so "middle-aged guy next door." In any case, once the dubbing process starts, he (or at least his vocal chords) transfigures into the mighty Autobot leader and everything else becomes so sweet. Imagine having this guy for your dad and telling the school bus to "transform and roll out" every morning when it picks you up. Even the school bullies will want to be friends with you.
As you probably know, Transformers: The Game is a direct spin-off of the movie which comes out in several weeks' time, albeit with some storyline differences from the flick. Players will be able to choose whether they want to side with the Autobots or the Decepticons to tilt the war that transcends generations and star systems. We'll fill you in on more news as they come.

This morning (23May07), Ubisoft revealed that the PS3 is now the "lead platform" for Free Radical's forthcoming shooter, Haze. Originally set for a release on the Xbox 360, PC, and PS3 this spring, the game will now debut solely on the PS3 this fall.
In fact, the fact sheet provided by Ubisoft no longer lists the PC or Xbox 360 versions of the game, prompting some speculation that it may become PS3-exclusive. The UK Haze site for the game also only bears the PS3 logo...
First of all, what does this have to do with Haze? Second of all, it was already announced for PC and Xbox360. So it being exclusive is false. A game doesn't become exclusive after being announced as multiplatform. Only the reversal happens.
This has exactly what to do with the Transformers game? hmm.. oh.. I know this one... ooo..ooo.. NOTHING! Yay I win a prize!
