Video: 2K Games reveals The Darkness' Black Hole

Much has been said about the evil and malicious entity that's so intricately entwined Jackie Estacado's character in the video game The Darkness. But still, one is unable to comprehend the true powers that lurked beneath it. With this new trailer video released by publisher 2K Games, we guess we will all finally understand.

Called Black Hole, this is actually one of the in-game abilities available for the players. Black Hole is a vortex that can be summoned by Estacado to trap enemies. Opened in a room full of enemies, the Black Hole can empty the said room in seconds leaving it as if nothing happened.

The Darkness will be available both on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 later this June. It is being handled both by Starbreeze Studios and Top Cow Productions.

God...this game suck so much...

Very crap effect...this is not a black hole....its just a crap "gravity-like" spell that push and pull everything...

A black hole sucks things into it and crushes whatever it grabs into a ball no larger than the tip of a needle no matter the objects size or density, and is so strong that it can even bend light rays and trap them inside as well. Instead, this black hole only seems to spin things around and then spit them back out. Even when a black hole *dies* it doesnt spit things out, the things it took are just completly gone (or possibly still there, but would only be the size of a atom, sience has yet to prove it black holes leave remains). This effect is kinda weak.

WTF - this isn't a black hole - it's a f***ing horizontal tornado - black hole's are ment to suck everything into them & not bring them back.
