VGA updates: Dante's Inferno confirmed, Fight Night Round 4 coming next summer

Electronic Arts' mysterious new project called Dante's Inferno has just been confirmed during the Spike TV VGAs today. No target consoles or even a tentative date were mentioned though.

The confirmation was made by Kim Kardashian, who reportedly described the game as "based on a book or something". Okay. I honestly still have no idea how they're going to tackle this project. Nevertheless, it's certainly got my interest piqued.

In other EA news, Fight Night Round 4 was announced to be slated for a Summer 2009 release. The fourth entry in the popular boxing series will be available on PS3 and Xbox 360.
