Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment announced, coming to XBLA & PSN this year

Konami has announced the release date for Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment, the first  installment in the Vandal Hearts series made for 7th-gen consoles. The game will be making its way to the Xbox Live Marketplace in August, while the PlayStation Store will be getting it in September.

Originally released in 1996 (1997 in the US and Europe), Vandal Hearts was one of the earliest  tactical RPGs released for 32-bit consoles. Vandal Hearts: Flames of Judgment will serve as a prequel to the original and expands the game's universe with a new storyline, newly-designed gameplay mechanics and upgraded visuals.
