Artoon must have really done a number on Vampire Rain: Altered Species when it decided to translate the game for the PlayStation 3. Apparently, the PS3 version has a 3.8 GB mandatory install.Don't know what the install is for, but you may want to check your console's free space if you decide to pick up a copy of the game, which is available today. Be sure you have some time too - according to GamersPlatform, the install took them 30 minutes to finish.
Now the Xbox 360 version of the game has been criticized heavily, getting poor ratings from almost all sides. However, if the game has something to offer that the 360 game didn't, as the mandatory installation implies, then the jury's still out on this one for the time being. At least the art's pretty creepy.

The best is when you can actually choose to install or not, like soul calibur 4, but installing is the best anyway. 2mins to save hours of loadings, lol!!!
Anyway, this debate is done. Stop spamming stupid news like that Qj, Please!

sony and the devs are just too slow to adapt due to the ignorant masses.
its no use crying in such thing, installing saves time in overall loading time so get with it.
why complain when all ps3's have hard rives to install games to.
i hope in the near future that this installing thing is NOT NEWS at all.

people want to know if they will require a addtional harddrive, lol your not going to spend £40 on a game
and not have enough room for it, either having to delete a previous gamedata which means you may be sitting for 30mins inbetween games
or spend another £80 to get it working
seriously think it through
also to below it depends on how the game is loaded whether that is possible, devs have different styles and wants, they believe its best to do it one way other believe its best to do the other
giving to options can lower the speed of each option.....
