Gametrailers has put up a video interview with Epic Games president Mike Capps. In the video, we get to learn more about what to expect from the FPS behemoth called Unreal Tournament 3 (PC, PS3, and Xbox 360).

Epic Games is definitely working on full throttle for t,he next installment in the Unreal franchise. Capps notes that while last year's Gears of War definitely showed off great graphics, this is a year later. "We're blowing away what we did last year in terms of complexity of graphics and materials," said Capps.

Aside from the great graphics, gamers will be treated to quite a few new features in Unreal Tournament 3. The guns are more powerful ("A rocket to the face, you're dead, you're done."), for one. There are also new gameplay modes such as a vehicular version of Capture the Flag.

You can learn all about these cool new features by checking out the vid below. The PS3 and PC versions of Unreal Tournament 3 are slated for release in November.

It's really nice to see a company that puts so much into a game as Epic.

I really apreciate Epic for releasing this on consoles and i think it is a good move. This will allow them to increase their install base, generate new fans(I neva played it so im gna be 1 of them probably) and of course more profit.

# i didn't really thought about this game... until now, lolplaton 2007-09-14 15:24
It's looking GREAT, I mean, all that they said about the point and kill is sooo coool, I was waiting for this kind of gameplay, I was a bit bored with the unreal 3-4 thing of gameplay where you need to shoot the ennemy a lot before they die, now it's fast, so it's a bit more like the 1st unreal or a weird conterstrike, lol. Looking awesome.

And it's cool to know that the PSN will help devs put wathever they like, I mean, with mods and stuff, it's gonna be fun! And you can create your map on the PC and port it on the ps3, wow! There is gonna be so many mods! lol (like conterstrike) :D

The game is looking great and on the PSN the multiplayer is gonna be free so it's great, it's the same as on PC (with M&K support) but I don't have a PC that can run this type of graphics... maybe on low or medium(MAX thing my PC could run, but without any antialiasing, it kills my video card, damn ATI) but not at ALL on maximum, lol. Now the ps3 can run it smooth and is the same as for PC, you'll even be able to play against PC users on the ps3 (and vise versa) while the x360 version won't suppose M&K nor multiplatform multiplayer, for this game (or any PC-like game), the PSN is winning against the XBL. :D
