Too bad the POS3 *still* can't upscale 720p games to 1080i like every other true HD device can do. The 360 upscales *all* games to 1080i and it's less expensive and supposedly less powerful. What's up with that Sony??? Why is your console such a POS???

I will admit that I am a little dissapointed. The wallpaper option was finally implimented, but for some reason you can't keep the flowing waves like the PSP. I can't change the font, so I can't just put any wallpaper I want without the text being barley visible. The sort option was dissapointing and useless. What I want most is music in game, an option to randomly alternate wallpapers and a better way to organize games and videos. Seeing how the rival cosole already does two of these things, I wouldn't think it would be terribly difficult on such a powerful system. Well, it'll get better, at least I hope.

Sure, games are multiplatform, but that doesn't mean they are only on the PS3, and also that doesn't simply mean they will be better on the 360. Only a 360 fanboy would think like that. As developers get more used to the PS3 architecture, multiplatform games stand a good chance at being just as good as the 360 version. Also, need I remind you that the PS3 has its own share of great exclusives? Also, you said that Microsoft delivering good games isn't going to change anytime soon. Granted, but that doesn't mean it's going to stay like that forever either. Nothing is forever, remember that.

Sony needs to take the heat for the bad changelogs. Bad tracking and bad translation or both seem to have been a problem for every release so far. I did notice that the log included in the update mentioned text entry in Chinese and simplified Chinese.





Although it is important to note that most companies don't publish under the covers type changes. There are probably refinements in there that are only surfaced if you are in the Home beta.

As far as I can see, this is the result of some ill-conceived design issues with the 360 internals, and I do believe that these will be fixed in future iterations of the 360, just not yet. As for MS-bashing, I think not all of the negative attention Sony has received from the media or from people for the PS3 has been warranted. I mean, when Home and LittleBigPlanet were announced, GameSpot actually came up with a list of things that were lacking in the PS3. Isn't that highly biased, focusing only on the negatives and not looking at the positives at all? I mean, here they announce a revolutionary concept for a game, where you can build your own levels on a Console and share them with others, a game which is all about creativity, and people like these ignore this completely? As for rumours, I think you've done your fair share of spreading anti-Sony rumours on QJ. A little bit of introspection on your part (if you can) and you'll know I'm right.

I actually bought the PS3 as I was getting a very good Blu-Ray Player in addition to a very good gaming machine. Compared to the 360 with its huge Power Supply, and well, lack of excellent hardware design (I won't go into all the issues again), the PS3 IS a piece of art, an expensive one no doubt, but a piece of art nonetheless. However, I do realize that this is subjective and to you, the 360 might be the ultimate piece of electronics. All I ask is you do not ridicule others for their choice.



As for Ken Kutaragi, yes, he might be brilliant as far as electronics and hardware design goes, but I agree that his PR skills do leave something to be desired.

I gotta admit though, some of the stuff said is down right hilarious.

Disc scratching primarily occurs when your 360 gets tilted while playing a game. i've experienced it first-hand with a copy of Guitar Hero 2. (thank god it still works) now there is a circular ring around the middle of the disc. i haven't tried it with my ps3 yet, as i'm currently 800 miles away from it. PS: Girls in Dominican Republic tan topless on the beach in plain view. (And the spa girls give massages with happy endings for a little extra ;) )
