Reaper - who bears a striking resemblance to Marcus Fenix of Gears of War - is thrown (or dives headfirst) into the middle of open warfare against the Necris High Inquisitor, Akasha, who slaughters innocent civilians. The trailer doesn't give away much else in terms of story, but that's what playing the game is for.

Now those are next-gen graphics.
McAwesome, the gameplay doesn't look that good, those are generated cut scenes. Anyways, the voice for Reaper is crap and the story line sounds cheesy! The single-player in this game will never match Gears of War's single player campaign. Gears of War had the best voice acting, and a much better story line than this. Even though the single-player campaign won't be as good as the one in Gears of War, I'm very interested in what it'll be like.
UT3's single player story isnt that bad, you're forgeting this story was made up by the same people who did Gears of War! So it may not be as good AS gears, but then so what, its still good, well its better than most storylines out there on multiple platforms. Oh and the gameply looks far more superior to that of GoW thanks partly to GoW and these cut scenes are very close to PS3 gameplay, I'm sure. BrendanL you're obviously in the wrong gaming section, you're supposed to be in with those Xbots are'nt you?
er... the UT series goes back before gears of war ever came out!!!! so if anyones ripping off anyone....... anyway, i agree with lifeline......your in the wrong gaming section!!!!
just so you guys know that was all in game and the cutscenes are not pregenerated. and it was all on a PC.
