Unreal Tournament 3 to support keyboard and mouse |

There's some exciting news for all of you awaiting the release of Unreal Tournament 3 on the Sony PlayStation 3. Just when it looked that keyboards and mice won't be in the mix when the action begins, new hope has risen from the best source of them all.
PS3 Fanboy reports that Epic Vice President Mark Rein has confirmed the support of the input devices through a post on the PS3Forums. This comes after an interview with Joystiq that saw him lean over to the no-keyboard side because he thought that there wasn't much demand for it. Fans reacted and sent him feedback, prompting him to reverse the decision.
Now that it's settled, how do the developers address the issue of balancing the play between SIXAXIS and keyboard players? Does this indicate that we're closing in on PS3 to PC cross-platforming? We're not sure but here's hoping for the best. More details to come in future posts.

great news about the keyboard and mouse move, but i personally want to try the SplitFish FragFX controller for the PS3.

the funny thing is, a few pc players will be playing with 360 pads and probably whooping your arse. 360 is king of shooters.
i use it it?s pretty good. you can adjust the sensitivity on all the buttons including the tilt function and you can map the button scheme anyway u want, you can even switch what the tilt function is used for like in resistance i set it up so tilting the joystick side to the left is a melee. you can use it as a regular mouse for web browsing or on your other OS if u have one. There is also free updates for it on splitfish.com
but it takes a while to get used to it especially if you dont normally play games with a mouse. but its about the same price as a standard controller, until the wireless version comes out, so it was an easy buy for me.
this game has nothing on gears!! and the the 360 version comes out it will run at 60fps at 1080p!! ps3 is trash and will soon be gone!!

yeah, it'll be at 60fps, but not in 1080p (1080i). it'll be de-interlaced into 1080p at 30fps. Ha Ha noob, i can't believe you would buy a 360 and THEN brag about it's HD capabilities.
