The action in the trailer is pretty intense. Be it on foot or behind the controls of one of the many vehicles in the game, players will surely be getting a huge rush of adrenaline when this baby finally gets released.

hahahaha, killzone looks better you say? YEAH RIGHT!!! Anyways, I already have this preordered, so I cant wait! I loved UC on the old Xbox and I played it almost every day for over a year until the community started to dwindle. This one is sure to be amazing.
thats the PC version.... the Console version will not run this fast,its impossible to control at this speed,not to mention its technicaly difficult i wonder how will the console versions look....

well,it seem UT3 will only be available for the PS3 this holiday http://ps3.ign.com/articles/803/803477p1.html and haze too... so PS3 owners have UT3 this year....and they will have Killzone 2 in early 2008 [possibly when the PS3 price drops even more to 400$] things cant get better for the PS3...a price drop,the Incredible killzone 2,and now UT3 and haze are only PS3 availabe this holiday its PS3 season...
They said that this game was made especialy for the PS3, not for PC or Xbox360.

Back in the day, they said the PS3 and PC versions will run equally fast and the 360 version would run a step slower. This is to compromise for the fact that PS3 supports mouse/keyboard input while the 360 won't.

I didn't watch the entire Sony conference but either Phil twisted his words (as usual) or you just misunderstood him, or just flat-out didn't hear him. UT3 has been DELAYED for the 360 and is exclusive to the PC and PS3 FOR 2007. The 360 version will come in Jan 08
No, they said they are going to optimise it for the PS3 to give it a performance boost. The game was made for the ever expanding power of the PC which has once again already surpased the latest consoles. Cell chip is not faster than a Core 2 Quadro Extreme, and PS3's 7800 graphics architechure is no match for the GeForce 8800 series.
I can't wait till the America's Army team get's thier hands on it and Makes the 3'rd America's Army, too bad I'll have to shell out at least $800 for a machine to run it; mine's havin problem's with the 2.8 version.
as i clearly agree with what you said about the 780 architecture and i think cell is on par with the quads but thats just me..... but anyways o every has a $800 cpu or $300, although this game will clearly take advantage of the dx10 8800 i highly doubt it will be 4 core optimized for pc considering noth many pc gamers have adapted yet. And btw the ps3 7800 architecture isnt just a 7800 its been reworked and its alot more powerful then any of the 7800 cards.... and the reason why the ps3 has produced such visuals is the fact that the gpu and cpu can both be combined to produce visuals so although the gpu has its limits the cpu can combine using some technology i forgot its name and help the gpu produce visuals..... either way it will be a great game with mods for both and possibly be able to play pc people with my ps3 version with my mouse and keyboard...... word im writing alot today lol
