Is Uncharted's Nathan Drake as big a character as Lara Croft of Tomb Raider fame? Naughty Dog's Bruce Straley think so. In fact, he even reckons that Drake is "beyond that point already, in terms of popularity."But hey, Straley's talking about his own project here, so it's a given that he'll back it all the way. He does get one thing perfectly correct, though: Drake's a very likable fella.
We've created something new with him by infusing him with traits more associated with a good movie protagonist than just a video game icon. It's not just us drinking the kool-aid either - according to not an insignificant number of reviews, press, and forums, people have really taken to Nathan Drake's character.
Lara might have a head-start (and a bigger built-in appeal to those who are enamored with a bunch of pixels sporting double-Ds), but give Drake a few more games, maybe a movie, and I bet he'll be right up there with all the other gaming icons. He's already tops in my book. He'll never be as top-heavy as Ms. Croft, though, and thank god for that.

However she still has a large support from her fans, myself included ( Lara was ok to me, until Angelina Jolie
No matter what i'll always be a fan of both Lara and Nathan and their games, hmmmm, i wonder what if Lara and Nathan starred in the same game its a great idea to me maybe the devs should get together and try to make something off of it.

The best Tomb Raider was three. After that all titles sucked, espically Angel of Darkness.

TOMB RAIDER UNDERWORLD DID NEED SOME WORK SO ILL GIVE UNCHARTED CREDIT OVER THAT. BUT THE REST OF THE GAMES ARE BETTER!
