Anyhow, Evan Wells beamed that their game "will have the prettiest snow you've ever seen in a game!" How pretty is "prettiest", exactly? More polygon-pretty, apparently.
What the --- I said SNOW! SNOW!
With Uncharted 2 and the Naughty Dog Engine 2 we can do much more, do it better and do it faster. For example, we can see more polygons on screen, which allows us to create areas with even more detail in the previous game.
Whew... we're saved.
In addition we save no effort when it comes to the rendering of snow in Uncharted 2. It should be a banner to me to be the prettiest snow you've ever seen in a game!
I'm not one to doubt the veracity of this statement, seeing as how impressive the screenshots we've seen so far of the game. We'll be sure to share with you the awsomest snow ever! once Naughty Dog's done tweaking with it.
