Uncharted 2 multiplayer details: melee one-hit kills, propane tanks, RE5 multiplayer comparison, and the return of Elena and Sully |
Ó
Yeah you can watch the 7-minute video interview below, but here's a quick summary:
- Elena and Sully are confirmed to be available in multiplayer mode, but there's no confirmation if they'll appear in the single-player campaign
- Using propane tanks have an advantage and disadvantage. You can blow up your enemies with it, or, if the tank is shot while you're carrying it... ouch.
- The Capture the Flag/Treasure mode is called Plunder.
- There are melee one-hit kills: sneaking from behind and cracking their necks or throwing people off ledges - just make sure you're not caught

As long as it doesn't have the two little screens it's all good. Why the hell did RE5 have two little screens for anyway.
I never had the pleasure of owning the first Uncharted, but I messed around with it at a friend's house and enjoyed the small bit I played. But things like co-op, multiplayer matches, AWESOME SNOW (lol :P) among other things may make me play through the first one and pick this one up.
it looks amazing, i cant wait
Was buying the game anyways for what's hopefully a fantastic single player story mode (least based on the excellent original). This multiplayer stuff is just one heck of a hugely nice bonus.
