Uncharted 2: Among is second fastest selling PS3 exclusive title |

Amy Hennig of Naughty Dog has said that Uncharted 2 has been performing beyond expectations. If you're the type who needs actual statistics before you believe statements like that, maybe this will help. Nathan's second adventure, Among Thieves, has been found to have moved approximately 836,000 units -- in its first week alone, worldwide. This number puts it nicely at the number 2 position among the fastest selling PS3 exclusive title.
Killzone 2 sold some 770,000 units in its launch week, thus settling for number 3. At the number one spot, of course, is Solid Snake and his posse, in Metal Gear Solid 4. It sold a whopping five million units in its first week on retail shelves.
This 800,000++ units for Uncharted 2 represents over six times that of the sales sold from the original Uncharted title.
Again, congratulations to Naughty Dog!

i bought mgs4 on the first day, but for uncharted 2, on the first week. Great game!
Im actually interested in buying Uncharted 2. Well i wanted it before but was to excited about MW2.

MSG4 sold 5 mil in 1st week?? that's like 1 out of 5 ps3 owners. That's pretty impressive. But I guess you can't really compare since MSG been around for so long and MSG4 marks the last Snake game. Uncharted 2 is one hell of a game thou. Definitely going to kill me now as the wait for Uncharted 3 begins.
I don't think mgs4 sold 5million in the first week. Where did you get this info QJ? MGS4 sold 4.27m according to vgchartz (span of 10 weeks I think). I personally though mgs4 only sold over a million in the first week which is still pretty impressive.
Uncharted 2 is really selliing and so it should be; my god it's a feckin' awesome game. I just finished it tonight and OMG OMG OMG OMG is it epic. Naughty Dog must be feeling really pleased with themselves, they deserve it after making such a brilliant gamne. I'm gonna go onto multiplayer now, I played it briefly and it was sweet. Just when I thought Uncharted Drake's Fortune was good........ lol
5 million in 1 week? You know that's funny cause MGS4 only sold a total of 4.75 million games. So....lol wrong info guys.
You guys read the article wrong.

the article clearly says: "It sold a whopping five million units in its first week on retail shelves."
Could be a typo or picked the facts wrong off some site....
if you read the source article, it does say that MGS4 sold 1.7 million in its first week.
