Warhawk Box art - Image 1Here's some good news for all those UK fans of Incognito Entertainment's Warhawk. It seems that Sony's semi-official ThreeSpeech blog has come up with a release date and pricing for both the PlayStation Network and retail versions of the UK release of Warhawk.

According to the announcement, the PSN version of the game will come out on August 28 and will cost 19.99 GBP (US$ 39). On the other hand, the retail version of the game, which will come bundled with a Blu-ray/Jabra headset will follow three weeks later on September 21, and will cost 39.99 GBP (US$ 79).

Two ways to get the same great package. All it takes is a little patience, some cash, and a lot of time to spend (after you get yourself a copy, of course).

» I believe...

that August 28th is the worldwide release for Warhawk (on PSN). Its seems that only the US gets the Blu-ray version on the same day, while the rest of us have to wait another three weeks for it. Will definitely download because of this.

» Good price

The price if true is very reasonable.

Can't decide which one to get now. I want the blu-ray but wait 3 weeks? Hmm, someone else decide for me.

it's a ripoff either way. 1 the game doesn't look that good. 2 if u purchase the downloadable and later want to resell the game u can't.. 3 80.00 for a game with a headset is a ripoff because the bluetooth isn't working 100% on the ps3 right now as the next firmware is needed to clean up the issues.

So all around if you are looking to get this game you might want to wait till at least firmware 2.00. Because the headset isn't going to work like you want it too.

» Difference?

What's the difference between the Blu-Ray version and the PSN version?

Is it just the headset? Special features on the Blu-Ray?

by bob - 2007-08-22 16:20
» common sense

yeah maybe not 100% of the bluetooth headsets work, but don't you think that the one shipping with the game would obviously be compatible.

its not like they would give you one of the ones not supported.
