UK PlayStation site updated: GTA IV October release |

Good news for everyone who's been waiting for Grand Theft Auto IV: the UK PlayStation site has been updated and it looks like the game's release is finally on the horizon. According to the site, Grand Theft Auto IV will be released on October 2007. Oh hey look at that, it's this month, whaddaya know.This site only offers game details relevant to the UK so we're really not sure whether or not the date will have any bearing on the US's own. Also, the update info was from the PlayStation site so we also don't know how this would affect the Xbox 360 version.
At any rate this should come as good news all around for everyone who's been anticipating the title for some time now after having to endure its delays and controversies since this at least means the game is well under way to be released.

really cant see it happening somehow must be a mistake. There hasnt been enough hype for it yet the mags normally go crazy about it at least months before and there really has been very little info recently.
It sounds like uk.playstation.com needs to update their site.
Sony did say they have something BIG planned, an early release of GTA IV could be in store.

Technically even if its not released this month its still going to be released early. I heard its a timed exclusive anyway and GTA4 for 360 will be out in june, but i think its a rumor anyway. I don't expect this to be true.

Those trailers say October 2007 in their description because they were released when the game was slated for October 2007.
Europe gets everything later than us, this includes memos.
they also got Gran Turismo 5 Prologue release date set at July to September 2007 which has passed already and NO GT5P yet. anyways if i want exact date i just go to Japan Playstation Website, they are very accurate and ahead of time.
