Ubisoft Using Assassin's Engine for New Project

UbisoftScimitar, the engine powering Ubisoft's upcoming title Assassin's Creed, is apparently also being primed for use in another unannounced intellectual property (IP). This is what 1UP found out from Assassins Creed technical director Claude Langlais. Langlais also told 1UP that the game in question was not a follow-up to Assassin's Creed.

Could it be that the Scimitar engine will be used for the first next-gen Prince of Persia title? The team behind Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is also the same team currently working on Assassin's Creed, so it might not be so farfetched after all. If it does turn out to be the case, then the next-gen Prince of Persia game will be certainly something to look forward to next year.

the prince of persia serie is done, they finished it with the 3rd, the two thrones, they will only do "side-games" with the prince of persia name, things like: prince of persia and the blah blah blah for wii and ds, things like that.

So don't say, hey I was waiting for another prince of persia :'( , anyway I suppose the one who played the 3 games already know that anyway.
