Ubisoft has just revealed that their upcoming survival game, I Am Alive, will not be gracing the Games Convention, which is scheduled for later this month.
Talking to CVG, an Ubisoft rep said that there's no big reason for the no-show, which probably means that Ubisoft just wants to show off a build that's further along into development. I'm hoping for an appearance at the Tokyo Game Show, though, seeing as TGS has been moved to October.
What we know about the game so far doesn't amount to much. It tells the story of Adam, a survivor of a major-scale disaster that levels Chicago. The game will reportedly focus on character interaction and puzzle solving, with players making major life-changing decisions.
I Am Alive is currently being developed for PlayStation 3, PC, and Xbox 360.

I was thinking about how awesome it would be to have an "I am Legend" game done by a really good developer.
"I Am Legend" was a good title but "I Am Alive" is pretty stupid. They should have Capcom make the game if it's about zombies....actually Capcom should take a try at this game and actually make the game huge...I get a huge feeling that this game is gonna be a huge let down and short because of the multi-platform development
Myst meets Disaster Movie...
I am a big Myst fan - and any game that challenges my mind really intrigues me... there is a good chance that I will like...
OMG... I am Legend, the game, would be AWESOME!!! Never even thought of that... specially if it was based off the original book. The recent movie was pretty good, but didn't keep the absolutely chilling and brilliant ending that was originally written.
