Ubisoft issues cease-and-desist over Jade Raymond webcomic |

We all know and agree how much of an eye-candy Ubisoft Montreal's game producer Jade Raymond is. But you better keep those silly little admirations and fantasies of yours in check because one website hosted an offsite link to a webcomic depicting rather raunchy cartoon version of Miss Jade Raymond.To put it simply, the Ubisoft hottie was drawn to be offering a -- shall we say "a vast range of service" - in order to get guys to buy the game. Another thing that probably caught Ubisoft's ire is the addition of Assassin's Creed (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) logo.
Due to these offenses, Ubisoft is currently threatening that it will take legal actions against the website if the following conditions will not be met accordingly and immediately:
- Permanently remove the Image from your Site, databases and servers and prevent any further uploading or display thereof
- Permanently cease and desist all unauthorized use and hosting of images using the ASSASSIN'S CREED mark and Ms. Raymond's name and/or likeness
- Provide us with the name and contact information of the person who originally created and/or posted the Image
- Complete, execute, and return to me the enclosed Declaration by November 16, 2007 to confirm that you are complying with Ubisoft's demand
I don't know what they're talking about here but it probably relates to you guys and even if it doesn't, it's still your fault and I'm furious here and I'll never forgive you in a thousand years or in a million years or a thousand million years ever. I'm shutting this forum down and replacing it with a Neopets trainer guide.

Welcome to the Internet. Ubisoft uses Raymond to sell this game, and you get a bunch of bored kids with photoshop. Its just the way things work.

Although it's a pretty standard course of action it's funny considering how much Ubisoft have been 'pimping her out' over the past months.
It's not;

it's a comic of two nerds getting promotional blowjobs by a Jade Raymond pictured in the rumored striped bikini they're like; "AHhhh... your game will be good...."
and she's sprayed with semen at the end and there's an AC logo and it says; Buy Jade's game!!
Oh, yeah, because that is soo much better than a naked body. You guys want porn, get it elsewhere. It'll feature women that are actually hot!
not that it makes it any better, but that picture is out there as well. It just didn't happen to be the one involved in this particular story.
i was wondering when this was going to happen. it was all over /v/ for the past week. they wont get anything from the creator. its freedom of speech and the character looks nothing like jade.
I also came across the image in question with the Assassins creed logo on the top left side. It is by far the worst shop ever.
And if you are wondering how I came across it, they were posting it on 4chan and getting lulz.
I'll be honest and admit that I think she's very pretty, but the people who made that comic (even though the comic sounds a little funny, in the "Hey, LOOK! It's sooo random! BWAHAHA!" kind of way) should do something better with their time like reading... or playing their favorite video game... or baking cookies... lol
