Trophy support for Uncharted: Drake's Fortune dated

Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Trophies coming August 22 - Image 1It helps to be prepared. Because it was already given preliminary support for it way before Sony made the service available, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune is set to be one of the first games to provide Trophy support.

It was revealed back in E3 that Trophy support for the game will be launched mid-August, and now we finally have a solid release date. According to a new podcast from PlayStation Nation, Trophies for Uncharted will be coming on August 22.

This was later confirmed by Naughty Dog, with a representative saying that "Yes, Trophies will be released on August 22, if all goes to plan." If you were waiting for a reason to play the game again, this would be it.

i cant wait,im soo desperate to play uncharted right now... that game has a high replay value for me,but i need to wait so i can get EVERY trophie there is for that game.. i allready unlock like 50-60%,do for the fact im having to wait for trophie support or i would of ben almost done.

this game has one of the most incredible realistic visuals EVER and gameplay that keeps me hooked. cant wait for the 2nd one. :)

Wonder if Sony will crack down on save file cheats. It's so easy to download PS3 saves and install them. With the new trophy system people are going to create trophy getting game saves.



Should Sony close this hole? Or should people just be trusted not to cheat?

YES! i've always found it disappointing that looking for treasures in drake's fortune don't really do anything for you. unlike in tomb raider where you can actually use the stuff that you find, drake's treasures are purely tokenistic. maybe with the trophies in place it'll be more significant or something.



will definitely play it again when trophies come out. whee!!!

To be honest I don't really see the purpose of trophies other than to show off to your buddies - which is cool but it would be nice if they did a little more....like 100% complete game run could unlock a trophy that gives you 10% discount on Uncharted 2 while 100% complete (all treasures and game run) could maybe give you 30%. Anyway Uncharted rocks and I'm keen to play through again!
