Every so often I seem to see a comment here asking about Trine's US release. To all those wondering, here's some news that should placate you somewhat.

Finnish game developer Frozenbyte and French publisher Nobilis Publishing have finally committed Trine to an October 22nd launch date on the PlayStation Store. Let's all hope this goes through as planned, yeah?

Trine is a fantasy action / platform game where the player can create and use physics-based objects to beat both puzzles and enemies alike. The gameplay is based on fully interactive physics - each character's different abilities and tactics can be used to invent new ways to overcome obstacles. The game is already out on the EU PlayStation Store.

I usually hate when I read people saying this because I figure they are bluffing, but I know that I am not. I would have bought this game for $20 a month ago, but there is too much other good stuff coming out before Oct. 22. I'll be wrapped up in Brutal Legend and Uncharted 2 by then. Stupid French people. lol. That's ok, I'll keep that money for when I finish the first two then it should be about time for Bioshock.

A couple weeks is hardly forever. Nice to see the UK gets a game on PSN before the US though. The waits we had for Street Fighter HD and Bomberman Ultra were about 3 months or so.

Stupid intolerant people posting derogatory remarks about someone's ethnic background simply on grounds of when they decided to release a game.
