Fantasy action game Trine is landing on the PSN and PC, according to a press release sent out by Nobilis and Frozenbyte. Here you can create and use physics-based objects to overcome puzzles and enemies.

In Trine, three heroes are bound to a mysterious device called Trine in order for them to save the kingdom from evil forces. Based on fully interactive physics, each of the characters have different abilities that can help players battle the un-deads and dodge dangerous contraptions.

Players can choose at any time who is the best character for the impending task. The Wizard can summon objects to help solve the puzzles as well as craft other nifty tools to overcome obstacles. The Thief, meanwhile, is very agile and accurate, surprising monsters with her swiftness, while the Warrior is known for his physical strength and the mayhem he unleashes wherever he goes.

We've got a video here for you to give you a better idea what the game is about. It's looking pretty good, actually. Sort of like it was shot in the Shire or something. You can expect it out by Q2 of 2009.

» Yeah...

Very sexy for an "arcade" game...

Although I must say it looks like a fantasy themed LBP...but not as good....

Still, could be very good for cheap people that don't like cutesy games....

» I love psn...

I LOVE the option of getting cheap, bit-sized games that you know you'll play over and over...with this deal for $4.99 psn games you could get 12 of them for the price of a normal game...AWESOME DEAL! Superstardust HD would alone keep me occupied more than a game like mirror's edge...

This one looks epic. gettin this one for sure.

» Yep!

I just picked up that Wolf of the battlefield commando game for $5. Pretty fun when people are over, wish people would play online though. Well worth the $5 anyway.
