Im glad 1080 Japan Airs wont exist any more. I was getting tired of collecting items in a skating game.
Off topic...
How come you guys still haven't announced the new GRAW Chapter 2 on the Xbox Live Marketplace?
say that I hate the new gallery feature QJ has implemented. It NEVER seems to work right for me.
We're working on improving the gallery so its more user friendly and in line with what you guys want.
Great graphics and great online play is pretty much the only thing that will get me to buy this.
I stopped caring bout playing the story mode after Underground. Underground 2 just plain arsed sucked.
i hope they make the physics slightly more realistic than previous versions.. it was almost more fun to play on "earth gravity" mode, just because you don't float around rediculously like you're weightless. these pics look good tho..
what would be cool? if the online multiplayer were set up mmorpg style. like, you select a world (aka level i.e. school) to join, and you just skate around with people, but you can like challenge someone to a game of horse, or hi score or something, where it would then not show all the other people, just the two (or 3, or 4, or 10
if not mmorpg, then you should at least be able to just start free skating a level, and have your friends on xblive join and start free skating with you, like a custom game in halo
I cant wait for this game
now they just need to make a Dave Mirra BMX on this game engine for all the BMX'ers
Redesigned from the ground up?
After seeing the trailer I was super excited about bringing realism into a skating game, but for some reason all of these images look the same as ay other THPS game to me... with ridiculous jumps and air. I hope the developers can bring some reality back into games liked Amped 1 used to be, or THPS 1 was. Where a backflip was really hard, to immpossible to do even off the biggest airs...
Sweet. It doesn't look like ass, like the last one.
The air and tricks in the previous games were horrible. I mean just look at THAW. Who do you know that can actually do a backflip in mid-air and run up walls? That pissed me off, too, because I was trying to grab onto the edge of a wall but it kept running up the wall instead.
And by the way, these graphics suck.
it would be nice if you could learn tricks as you go and not know every trick there is automatically, that would make it more realistic even if it had bad graphics.
and i think these graphics are good
Diffinitely played out. Besides, what kids are going to afford a 360 and $60 titles? This is a good idea when consoles were cheap, ie. PSX. But $400, $600, $2000. C'mon... do the game developers seriously think that kids can afford that? And with the average gamer age range moving up game developers, and Tony Hawk, need to realize that if a good chuck on change is going to be dropped for a gaming system and t.v. that player wants *ACTION* *ACTION* *ACTION* and *ACTION*, and *EXPLOSIONS* and *LOUD SOUND EFFECTS*. I say it, "I WANT MY LIVING ROOM TO ROCK!!!!!!!"
Tony Hawks are played out.
It looks like THPS 1, 2, 3, and 4, THUG 1 and 2, and THAW...
My point is that these games are getting old and pointless. I kind of liked American Wasteland because they put the BMX's into. Project 8 just shows that they have 7 too many Tony Hawk games.
This doesn't look rebuilt at all. I'd bet it'll be the same-old when this game is released.
