Ó

trlLots of HD collections making their way to the PS3. There's Team Icoand Shadow of the Colossus, there's the Prince of Persia collection, and now here's one more. Crystal Dynamics has confirmed that Tomb Raider will get a compilation of its own, remastered in glorious HD.

So says a Tweet from Karl Stewart, global director at Crystal Dynamics:

Yes, it’s official. #TombRaider PS3 ‘Trilogy’ pack coming in the new year. Full details next week. Watch this space.

This Tomb Raider Trilogy pack puts Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld all in one. The first two weren't originally on the PS3, which is why they'll be getting a high-def touch-up.

Further details on the Tomb Raider builds and additional features have yet to be announced. We'll keep you posted once Crystal Dynamics send word.

i liked the older tomb raider games better. the PSone classics are fine with me. i suppose there are a lot who'd be psyched about this though

v = u + at and s = ut + 0.5at^2.

It means very little to me as well. Few will appreciate this I believe. The titles were ranged from crap to meh.

This excites me! I thought that Legend and Underworld were great games. Glad to see them get a PS3 action other than what is offered on PSN.

Why not a collaboration of the first five Tomb Raider games? Or at least Revelations and Chronicles...It seems to me no one has the idea of a collection's possibilities. They could add in some unreleased game, or have a history of the storyline (for those that need one, anyways) and could just be updated to today's or slightly tommorrow's age of graphics (I have only heard of GoW having this, please correct me if I'm wrong).
