Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas for the PS3 ships to retailers |
Ó
Ubisoft yesterday announced that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas for the PlayStation 3 has shipped to retailers. So if you missed the series' earlier releases, this might be a good chance to try out this FPS and see what it's about. At US$ 59.99, it isn't cheap, but if you're a fan of tactical shooters, it's worth every penny.
The game, as the title implies, revolves around the bright lights of Vegas. It has become a hotspot for terrorists so the big guns need to be called in - enter your team of highly trained counter-terrorist operatives codenamed Rainbow Six. While the storyline may not seem that compelling or original, you'll have to trust us when we say it can get addicting after some time. Apparently we're not the only one who feels this way since this game has already sold a good 5.5 million copies on other platforms worldwide.
If multiplayer is your thing, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas has 20 multiplayer maps and 10 game modes for you to play. If you own multiple consoles and bought a copy for either the Xbox 360 and PC version, you may want to check it out for the ten new multiplayer maps and two game modes that are exclusive to the PS3 game.
So strap up your boots, and get ready. It's a good night to go hunting, Rainbow Six style. Are you up to the challenge rookie?

On topic....I am really hoping they improved the graphics for multiplayer on this, they were horrible on 360.....
they don't...

more things, at the same price of purchase as the 360 verson...i will get it for the ps3...microtransation s is just another word for milking us gamers...soon you will get a game that only has sincle player campaign...then you will have to buy a multiplayer add on for $10...plus Xbox live...anyway have fun with gta content...we will be enoying a better verson of your 360 games all the more offten.
