Tom Clancy's EndWar factions details surface |
Ó
We already know that the world's elite factions - the U.S. Joint Strike Force, European Enforcers Corps, and Russian Spetznaz Guard Brigade - are about to let loose the dogs of war, but who exactly are they? Developers of Tom Clancy's EndWar (Sony PlayStation 3, Microsoft Xbox 360) by Ubisoft Shanghai shed light on these superpowers, and revealed how deadly they can be on the battlefield.
The Joint Strike Force or JSF representing the U.S. is efficient on both land and air. "High speed, low drag" is the motto of this special forces group patterned after the Marine Expeditionary Units. They've got Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Automated Sentry Drones, and state-of-the-art stealth technology according to EndWar folks.
From Europe come the Enforcers Corps who dominate the urban scene. Electronic warfare is the name of the game, and lighter vehicles suffice when expert soldiers can gain leverage with directed energy weapons and the world's best "less than lethal" weaponry.
Russia's Spetznaz Guard Brigade combines hardened war veterans and heavy equipment to get the job done. Its members are said to have lost any regard for human life, and have enough experience to modify weapons and armor on the fly.
