Titan Studios talks Fat Princess development - all the yummy details |
Ó
Fat Princess began as far back as GDC 2006, when they came up with the first bits of concept art, looking forward to making a castle siege game. Apparently, they loved the concept so much that the game doesn't look much different from its paint-n-paper beginnings. Initially called "that fat princess game," the crew thought they'd eventually change the name - but they never really did. Fat Princess it is.
I have to agree with Deb Mars - there really isn't anything quite like Fat Princess. Sure, we've seen many capture-the-flag and RTS games out there, but the look, feel, and concept is really something that stands out. They really didn't hold back on the trans fat and the when it came to developing Fat Princess - and it shows, in more ways than one. Fat Princess is the new Battle of the Bulge.
Can't get enough of our sweet-loving sweetie? Titan Studios is carrying her large behind all the way to E3 in June, so I'm putting myself on blogger mode when the Fat, juicy details roll in.
