Tips to beat Siren: Blood Curse from game's producer |
Ó
Having a hard time finishing Siren: Blood Curse? Here are some tips to get you through it, straight from the producer himself. No tips on how to get you through your fears though, sorry.First, if you're having a tough time going through those danged shibitos, go for the one that runs away from you. Knock that one out and all other shibitos in the area will be knocked out as well.
A useful feature you can use to your advantage is the sight jack system. Lock on to a specific view from a shibito or a friend and just continue exploring while keeping an eye on that view. You can get vantages from multiple shibito by assigning buttons to specific ones. You can read on how by consulting the game's manual from the main menu.
If you're really into the horror story of the game, you may also find the Archive feature useful. It will allow you to review all the information on the weapons, special documents, and items you've found or earned. The archive feature will help you better understand the story and the events that transpire in the game.
Some of these objects are earned by playing through the game normally, but sometimes they can only be gained through specific actions, sometimes through actions taken in multiple episodes. Don't know if the game will ever have trophy support, but I guess the archive system can make a fair substitute.

Another way to make completing the game easier would be to update the control system. It's got to be the worst I've used in a long time, which is a shame, because the game itself is absolutely brilliant!
