TikGames and Creat Studios are once again joining forces to bring yet another title to the PSN. The baby of this union will be a follow-up to the 2003 RC title, Smash Cars. While the gameplay doesn't involve much purposive car-smashing, this multiplayer racer will feature various game modes that'll keep you glued to your PS3.

The previous partnership between the two brought Magic Ball, Mahjong Tales, and Cuboid to the PSN. They may not be hyped-up big-time titles, but their simplicity and gameplay made them interesting enough to fetch a few downloads from satisfied buyers. Well, some of them at least.

Smash Cars will be a combination of various elements in a racing title - with realistic physics, aerial tricks, and making roadkill out of your opponents. There's gonna be the usual speed boosts, and a point-earning system depending on your tricks and performance. Think of this as MotorStorm-lite meets Skate-lite. Yes, it's gonna be lite, they're just RCs for pete's sake.

If you wanna see more, then you can catch their booth at the GDC next week. We'll be getting more info from there, and until then, stay tuned.

As Breakout clones go, Magic Ball was very good. Still trying to get the last couple trophies from that.
