To much rejoicing of UT fans, Midway announced the name change of Unreal Tournament 2007 back to Unreal Tournament 3. Yes, three. Yes, we know there are four versions, but we bet you know who got dropped from the family, right? We're only hoping this isn't a tactic to not keep changing the name as it keeps getting delayed...

In addition to the video we gave you yesterday, three other screenshots came out today. So we just decided that it'd be fair to slap them on here as promptly as possible, just to add to our really old, early ones.

i heard rumor last year that there would be a version on UT for the wii...with a watered down version of the UT3 engine of coarse...anyone heard something new on this?

No, the wii has pretty much no third-party support and is a fad. In the next 2-3 years it'll start to bomb and it'll have less games then it already does.

This is gonna look like 10X better on 360 becasue of 512mb of RAM and free antialiasing. gotta love the 360, i guess i finally took PS3's dildo out of my ass. The Sony fanboy is now dead.

I agree Vietone, the 360 version will look a whole lot better, partly because the GPU in the 360 is lightyears ahead of PS3's old technology, and the other being that there are some DirectX 10 aspects, with the shaders and pipelines and such.



BTW lol about the PS3 dildo comment, mine was starting to hurt quite a bit, and after seeing that a Playstation site used PGR3 to showcase as GTHD, the fanboy came out of me like how Satan came out of that little girl in The Exorcist.
