Ó

Now that's settled. The previously reported legal squabble between THQ and Activision Blizzard over the boxarts of SCORE International Baja 1000 (PS3, Xbox 360, PC, Wii, PS2) and Baja Edge of Control (Xbox 360, PlayStation 3) has been closed.

It looks like ActiBlizz opted for the easy (but definitely pricey) way out by settling with THQ out of court by agreeing to change their artwork for Baja 1000. And you know what settlement means. Either both of them weren't up to duking it out for months/years to come just trying to prove whose is what, or the settling party would rather not be found guilty in court.

You take your pick. At least all that can be put aside now. Here's the new boxart cover for Activision's
Baja Edge of Control:

i think you mean to say "Here's Activision's Score International BAJA 1000".

and yes both baja games may only take a very tiny portion of sales because Motorstorm Pacific Rift would take most!

» Kind way to put it

I was going to say, "Since both games blow chunks, it doesn't really matter what the cover looks like." --There, I got it out. (I'm still perturbed at how much time I spent watching all of the intriguing dev-promo vids for Baja: Edge of Control ....only to rent the thing and see how laughably bad it is. ---And the screens on the other just look worse.) :-0

» Uhuh...

Get Motorstorm 2 instead, its much better than either of them - by miles! lol

Ff you liked the first game, you'd definitely love this even more! The graphics are vastly superior and much more detailed. The loading times have been reduced alot, overall it's just amazing; more tracks more terrains, more challenges AND splitscreen, what more could you ask? (replays?) :)p

By the way, it also has Photo Mode, so you can now pause the game and really go to town and scrutinise all the details to your hearts content and save them too!

9/10!
