Just when you thought that reality shows are dying out and producers are going back to convoluted storylines and outrageous coincidences, the PlayStation Network launches their very own reality series. Aptly called "The Tester", this show will feature 11 folks from different walks of life trying to outwit, outplay, and outsnark each other to become the next PlayStation game tester.
Meet the cast
Surely, we've all been to the "I wanna be a game tester" phase at some point. These guys are still there, and they're out to nail that dream job. The cast ranges from 22-36 years of age, a student, a paramedic, and a used-car salesman among them, and the goal is to secure the post in SCEA as America's. Next. Top. Model. PlayStation game tester.
The contest will be judged by David Jaffe, SCE release manager Brent Gocke, and a special celebrity judge who will be revealed soon enough. Stay tuned.

It'll be a reality show and that's that.
At least the "gamer" girl Kimmy isn't listed on The Tester, thank god, it would've been a nightmare for them.
